I have a new favorite Mexican restaurant in town!! The others will no longer be getting my money. The first time I came to El comal was just after they originally opened. At that time it was a stand in line and order kind of situation which I was not very crazy about. But since that has changed its regular seating as expected for a nice restaurant. Are server was Great. The food was excellent. The portions were good. The cleanliness of the restaurant was excellent. We were very impressed. My whole reasoning for reviewing restaurants is to call the ones out who give lousy service and terrible food and to make it known to the ones who do an excellent job who have a clean facility great food and great service. Which seems to be in short supply these days. Thank you El comal for an excellent evening. I assure you we will be back.

This is the best Mexican food in Mobile! The flavor is not bland like many are and is delicious. Carlos and his staff are excellent at service and courtesy! I highly recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner!

Excellent restaurant. Great food and service. Get the queso with beef added. It is absolutely delicious. Every entree we have tried there has been wonderful. It’s the best Mexican restaurant we have been to in a long time.
