"If you have not tried El Comal - or haven't been there since they switched to table service - you are missing out! The quality of the food is head and shoulders above 90-95% of restaurants in Mobile. We go there several times a week for the quality, consistency, huge menu including smash burgers for anyone in the party not in mood for Mexican. They have tamales! They have excellent management and a great chef! We know we're always going to leave feeling like we got what we paid for, which is so rare these days. The management cares and will treat you like family. Tons of TVs so you can watch any game that's on. Indoor and outdoor seating. Clean restrooms (sad this is rare now). Oh and they have some great daily specials too! We are so lucky to have this restaurant in the Schillinger/Cottage Hill area."
